This summer SCPL is encouraging people of all ages across St. Catharines to consider the time they spend reading. Whether you're reading all day at the beach, finishing a quick chapter while on public transit, or reading picture books during bedtime - if you've spent some (or all!) of your day reading, you can log that activity for a chance to win prizes.

It's simple: register for a READsquared account, and between Saturday, June 17 and Wednesday, August 31 people of any age can log how many days they've spent time reading. Not able to log your reading activity every day? That's okay, READsquared allows backdated logging so that you can get that time for previous days. For each day logged, participants will earn points they can put towards raffle prizes to be drawn at the end of summer. 

Plus! If you want an extra incentive, stop in at any SCPL branch location to pick up a bead for each day you've read - build a beautiful necklace, plus special milestone beads for every 5 days of reading!
